An Art Class for Pre-Schoolers

This class will incorporate art related children's books, fun games, science experiments, art history and projects to encourage your child to explore their imaginations all while being exposed to the wonderful world of art! Children attending this class will also be introduced to the world of great artists. There will be a focus for the children to explore their own imaginations while creating their own masterpieces.

Group 1 -
The Preschool/kindergarten class is open to children ages 3-5. All materials presented will be on a preschool/kindergarten level. The class will be offered in two time slots to choose from, depending on your schedule: Wednesday, either 10 to 11 a.m. or 1 to 2 p.m. Price will be $50 for Prospect residents, $55 for non residents. All materials are included. The eight week class will start on September 17 to November 12. There will not be class the week of October 22 due to Region 16 scheduling.

Group 2 -
The Home School class is open to children who are home schooled, ages 5 - 8. This class will be offered on Thursdays from 10 to 11 a.m. This class will include more involved and different projects. All new lessons for 2008! The eight week class will start on September 18 to November 6. Price will be $65, with a sibling discount -- second child is $60. All materials are included.

The instructor of the class will be Patricia Mazza Vlamis, a professional photographer, an art school graduate and a Prospect mom!

Classes are held at the Chapel Hall Building, 10 Center Street, Prospect. (Across from the Library, between Community School and the Police Department) and each sessioon is limited to 12 students, so call now before the class is filled.
